Nude female torso with her weight on the missing right leg, derived from the Aphrodite of Knidos. This sculpture has had a chequered history. Soon after discovery it was burned in a fire at Wilton House near Salisbury, and sold off for one guinea. It has been restored twice, with both restorations subsequently removed
